Growing Hope Healthy Chef Challenge

September 14, 2009 | posted by AKW Jay

Join me, 6:00pm September 18th at Whole Foods Market for the Healthy Chef Challenge benefiting Growing Hope (a super great cause!). I’ll be judging, along with Jessica Webster of WEMU 89.1 FM, Radio Free Bacon host Rob Reinhart and Kitchen Chick Lisa Leutheuser, the Healthy Chef finalists recipes. Each finalist has invented an original fresh salad and entrée that include delicious local Farmington Bakery Bread and locally grown apples. Donations are suggested with all proceeds benefiting Growing Hope. Show up and show your support for this great local cause! I look forward to seeing you there!

Oh and by the way! If you can’t make it and you still want to donate some of your hard earned money, follow this link to Growing Hope’s donation page.
